Genesis 21:1-7
A joke isn’t much of a joke if you know the ending. The more unexpected the ending the funnier it is.
God has a joke for us. He tells us what’s going to happen. We don’t believe it. He does it. We’re surprised. Joke’s on us.
Laugh forever.
Prayer:
It just occurs to me, God, I don’t think I have ever laughed while talking with you. Laughter and prayer just don’t seem to go together. Is that right? I’d like to say that’s because I take talking with you seriously, but it’s probably just because I take myself too seriously. Let’s deal with that. Through Christ. Amen.

a very refreshing post!
okay. so there's these three guys. well, two of them are guys, a father and a son. and one of them's a holy ghost. except they're all the same guy. except he's not really a guy.
anyways, there's three guys. and one of the says the original one-liner: 'let there be light.' and it was good. it was really good. they're still laughing, up there in heaven.
there's a good reason dante's masterpiece is called the divine comedy.
This is wonderful. Quite often while praying/talking to God at night...I will start to laugh...sometime I feel like a kid who has been caught giggling at grade school and sometime feel like I must not be paying attention to what I am doing. I am praying for heaven sakes. Other times I think that God is okay with the display of my happiness and humour.
Looking forward to further blogs..
